UFCW Local 617 Monthly Membership Meetings

Our monthly meetings will be held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Fort Madison Labor Center located at 728 1/2 Avenue G in Fort Madison, Iowa. The meeting times are 8:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 4:00 PM.

We encourage all of our members to attend these meetings and make their voices heard. These meetings are a formal setting where members can discuss various issues at the plant and have a say in the decisions that affect them. It is essential for our members to participate and stay informed about the issues that impact our work and our livelihood.

The Union meetings provide an excellent opportunity for members to connect with each other and the Executive Board. It is a place where ideas can be shared, and discussions can take place on how to improve working conditions, negotiate better benefits, and ensure that our collective voices are heard.

We want to remind our members that their participation is vital for the success of our Union. We encourage everyone to mark their calendars and make plans to attend the upcoming meetings. Let us work together to create a stronger and more United Union!

"As a Union member, attending meetings is one of the most important ways I can stay informed and engaged in the decisions that affect my job, my colleagues, and our collective bargaining agreements. It's not just about staying up-to-date on the latest news or developments, but also about having a say in what happens next. By participating in meetings, I can share my opinions, ask questions, and help shape the direction of our union's efforts. Plus, it's a great opportunity to connect with other members and build solidarity, which is crucial in any fight for fair wages, benefits, and working conditions. So if you're not attending Union meetings, you're missing out on a key part of being a member and making a real difference in your workplace."
